It's nonsense. Players can pick their teams when they are FA's. Until then you get traded only when the team wants you traded.

These players are too stupid to realize that going public with this trade demand stuff HURTS their value, and thus makes it HARDER to trade them. Lol

When you first reported Dubois for Laine or Barzal wanting to go to LA...didn't a few readers note that none of these players had any leverage and teams could simply hang on to them through several more RFA years? I guess that's what you are hearing from sources now...

I love Dubois as a player. An under the radar power forward who can provide alot. He would look great in Ranger blue. But a side note. Many have suggested how players are demanding where they are traded too while still under contract. I agree with you all. I have said it for years. Regardless of the contract and its terms, I always felt, the moment a player asks for a trade, any NMC or Modified NMC, should be deemed void. Players cant have it both ways.

Totally different situation to Vesey. Dubois is a known-quantify. Vesey’s highest level was NCAA when he signed with NYR.
